I think Terry Fox is one of the most greatest Canadians because he help to rase money for cancer research.He wanted to stop cancer because other kids have or had cancer and he does not want other kids to go through what he did.So he ran a cross canada to raise money for cancer research.He ran everyday at 5:00 in the morning.Everywere he went people followed him and watched and claped for him.
The people gave so much money for cancer reserch.He rased over 1000000 dollers. When he was young and heathy he was not the best at sports.He wanted to be on his school basketball team so he practiced and practiced and he was geting better and better.Untill university when he found out he was diagnosed with cancer in is right lag. The doctor cut of his lag and put and artifial leg. He saw other people kids even younger them him going through the samething.
